Responsible for administering and monitoring the Quality management systems in Warranties for Current and New Customers within the organization, to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications. Responsible for Customer Contact for Corrective and Preventive Action responses generated by Warranties.

Establishes and reviews with the work team the control plans, reaction plans, technical specifications and critical quality characteristics that must be followed by the production area, in the manufacturing of the products.
Leads the cross-functional team to ensure the correct implementation of corrective actions in the Quality system and customer portals for problems derived from Warranties, to ensure compliance in the production lines and their indicators.
Leads validations of machinery and processes through statistical analysis, validation runs for Corrective Actions derived from Warranty findings with the support of Manufacturing and Quality Engineering. As well as follow-up to return shipments and analysis to PTC.
Liaison between the development centers and TTS Irapuato for product specifications and technical questions; as well as liaison between the Plant and the Customer.
Manages current and new customer portals for timely responses to warranty issues.

Manages and monitors financial deductions/liabilities, derived from any Warranty event, according to program coverage (0,3,12,36 MIS) or equivalent in years or miles with BorgWarner Irapuato/Customer/Suppliers finance area, Communicates to Plant Management and PTC through the Warranties vs. Sales and KPOs format. As well as to the PTC Engineering group on the Dashboard.
Executes statistical studies - related to product survivability/failure (MIS, miles, MY, etc.)
Validates Corrective and Preventive Actions arising from warranty issues and suggests "Read Across" when necessary as prevention.
Validates Error & Mistake Proofing equipment derived from warranty issues and suggests "Read Across" when necessary as prevention.
Documents "Lessons Learned" for use in new programs.
Participates when necessary in the development of documentation through Advanced Quality Planning on New Projects and Engineering Changes suggesting "Read Across" when necessary as prevention.
Promotes continuous improvement and assurance of Quality Systems for Warranty reduction.
Oversees the correct execution of Contingencies in Plant and with the Supplier base, derived from Warranties. Once implemented by the Quality Team and SDE/SQA Plant.

Uses Continuous Improvement and Problem Solving tools (5's, Process Maps, DOE, Kaizen, 8D's/Red Alert, etc.) during analysis and PCA's, as well as management and compliance tools defined by the customer (GIM or equivalent).
Analyzes and Prevents Safety, Health or Ergonomics risks during the integration of Corrective and Preventive Actions.
Participates as a manager in the follow-up of the following systems: Quality, Environmental, Safety and C-TPAT Management.
Responsible for compliance with internal work regulations, quality, environmental and safety policies.
