Job purpose

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for a IT Specialist - Client Tech to join our Technical Center in Orsenigo.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support all Orsenigo and Cagliari employees for Hardware issues;
  • General Computer Desktop & Laptop support;
  • Configure new and existing PCs according to Corporate standards for deployment;
  • Desktop Applications installation and troubleshooting;
  • PC Hardware Refresh Project involvement;
  • Provide & Maintain mobile devices support;
  • Ensures that remote and on-site support issues are resolved to customers satisfaction;
  • Support the setup of processes;
  • Providing 1st and 2nd Level support but also leading local Client/Infrastructure and LAN change activities;
  • Support of Local Production/Manufacturing Connectivity;
  • Support in setting up an IT Service Catalogue;
  • Build IT service relationship with internal customers
  • Ensure that systems, processes and methodologies specified are followed and to ensure effective monitoring, control and support of service delivery.

What we’re looking for

  • High School Diploma in Information Technology
  • 5 years working in Information Technology as IT support and delivery or Service Desk
  • Good level of English
  • Experience in Service Management
  • Experience in Service Management Tools
  • Experience in Microsoft Client/Server Infrastructures
  • Experienced with Microsoft OS (Win 7, 10, 11)
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Basic application/software support i.e., SAP GUI client, Browser, VPN client, Backup, etc.
  • Very focused in User Satisfaction and collaboration
  • Experience in working in virtual/distributed teams
  • Communication skills to interface with colleagues from other locations
  • Ability to use own judgment and initiative in problem resolution
