Job purpose

Responsible for lead and coordinate the material flow management team. Coordinates and leads distribution and logistics activities, such as inventory control, storage, and internal and external customer service, maintaining an appropriate balance between the level of service required and the level of service spent in the process.
Responsible for maintain, define and improve safety and quality standadrs in the logistical processes of it's area of responsibility.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure compliance with security measures in logistics processes of storage, supply the product line and transport of goods
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Lead the material flow management team. Coordinate the team to be able to meet the area KPI's
  • Define , calculate and report the allocation of Human resources necessary to support an adequate level of service in the logistics processes related to the movement of parts
  • Monitor the development of employees in the area
  • Maintain an adequate level of inventory control
  • Lead the factory's overall inventory process
  • Coordinate with the managers the launch of new logistics/distribution systems.
  • Ensure the management of warehouse for raw materials. finished products, parts and others.
  • Ensure the timely and efficient distribution of materials in production lines, as well as the final product flow.
  • Develop thecnical improvements in work processes and operations.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date logistics/distrution databases.
  • Facilitate efficient and open communication within the team and with other teams/departments in the organization.
  • Ensure respect and compliance with the safety and cleanliness rules of the workplace, as well as respect and comply.
  • Continuously ensure the improvement of health, safety and cenvironmental conditions.
  • Participate in the definition, implementation and maisntenance of the organization policies.
  • Comply with safety standards, quality, productivity, hygiene and environmental protection
  • Comply with the organization's rules and internal regulations such as Ethics Code
  • Perform other tasks not included in the activity for which he was hired, when needs or service convenience warranted for a period of time defined as necessary

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Management, Business or related areas
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • 3 or + years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing or related area
  • Experience in automotive industry (preferred)
  • Team supervision skills
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge
  • SAP knowledge
  • Good knowledge of automotive industry rules and customer requirements
  • Good comunication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency English
  • Proficiency in Portuguese
