This position can be based out of one of BorgWarner’s current locations. This role is hybrid.

The Supervisor of HR Shared Services (HRLink) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the HR Shared Services team. The team is responsible for day-to-day operations of benefits, employee inquiry management, employee data and transaction management among other HR related matters, always ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

The Shared Services Supervisor works closely with plant HR Business Partners, Payroll and Corporate HR team on operational activities such as Workday HR data maintenance, benefits administration and communications delivery to address the needs of our US Employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the HR Shared Services team (HRLink) to provide high-quality support to employees, managers and HR teams.
  • Oversee the processing of HR transactions, including benefits administration, payroll, and employee data management.
  • Ensure the delivery of good customer satisfaction, timeliness, and follow procedures to meet service level agreement (SLA) requirements.
  • Maintains knowledge of organizational policies and procedures to assist employees and collaborates with HR business partners to address complex HR issues and support HR cyclical processes.
  • Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Leads enhancements of Shared Services processes to improve operational efficiency. Responsible for process flow documentation.
  • Partners with local HR, Payroll, HRIS, outside vendors, and Corporate Benefits teams to create efficiencies and improve services for the HR functions.
  • Performs daily data entries, maintenance and regular audits in Workday (HRIS), ADP (payroll), and other programs as needed.
  • Processes and tracks the premium points from Cigna points reports for entry into Workday and calculation of premium surcharges.
  • Delivers benefits and other HR-related trainings and communications to employees and retirees during new hire orientations, annual open enrollment, and off-boarding.
  • First point of contact for employee and retiree benefits questions and concerns.
  • Projects and other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE – Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR operations, shared services, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of HR systems, databases and MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience optiminzing work processes
  • Ability to lead and develop a team effectively
