Accounting Supervisor (Orsenigo, Italy)

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for a dynamic, results driven individual to join as Accounting Supervisor in our office in Orsenigo, Italy.

Key Responsibilities:    

• Responsible for accounting
• Manage & review monthly US Gaap closing activities
• Treasury cash forecast management
• Perform statutory tax reporting
• Prepare monthly financial statement for US
• Perform accounting reporting and analytical review
• Prepare statutory annual accounts in ItalianGaap
• Liaise with auditors & lead financial statements audit
• Actively participate in the SAP transition project
• Demonstrate strong understanding of financial accounting systems
• Report issues/key transactions to site controller and group accounting team
• Drive continuous improvement in processes
• Lead the accounting team

Education & Experience:

• Very strong experience in accounting/finance
• Master Degree in Accounting/Management/Finance
• Previous experience working for an international company and preparation of monthly financial statement reporting for US
• Team management experience with strong communication and leadership skills
• Good knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
• Expertise in SAP ERP
• Experience in SOX compliance implementation and internal controls
• Proven track record of statutory and tax reporting preparation;
• Expertise in Treasury and Cash Forecast management;
• Fluent in English and Italian
