On behalf of our teammates in Seneca, Plant Manager David Jacobs (right) accepted a Made in South Carolina Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility Award from the South Carolina Manufacturers Alliance. The award recognizes the plant’s support for the local community, priority for employee safety and wellness, and responsibility for the environment. For example, the facility and its employees donated more than $33,500 to a variety of charities including the March of Dimes, Rosa Parks Clinic, Marvin’s Kids and the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Drive as well as local organizations supporting health, wellness and children. Many employees also volunteer their time to educational, professional and nonprofit organizations. Safety training and wellness education keep employees safe and healthy. Along with CEO’s Safety Excellence Awards, employees have successfully completed an ISO 14001 environmental compliance audit and achieved zero-landfill facility status. Congratulations!
